Graduating Cum Laude from New York University's Institute of Film and Television in 1980, BWP President Bill Rogers first worked as an Apprentice Editor, then Assistant Editor, then Sound Editor on low-budget features and network television shows. While working on a documentary about Leonardo DaVinci for NBC, Bill earned his membership into the Editor's Union.
Bill moved from assistant to Editor while working on corporate television programs for AT&T and Sony. He soon began directing and writing corporate video as well. Bill has directed and/or written video for AT&T, Burger King, GTE, Merrill Lynch, Philip Morris and especially Kraft Foods where he enjoyed permalance status for sixteen years under the management of Bill Hoppe and Jack Gagliardo.
An award-winning photographer, Bill regularly shoots headshots and portfolio work for actors and models.
Bill continues to pursue a variety of creative endeavors, having directed the plays Lincoln, and A Christmas Carol (with Tony winner Mark Holman) in New York, and most recently the dramatic short film, The Devil You Know.
